Periodical maintenance of timber window frames

The wood operates throughout the entire time and this is why the windows made from this material require periodical maintenance. While washed, the window frames should be treated with preparations for timber maintenance and painted with paint or varnish every five years.

Periodical maintenance of ironmongery

Regular lubrication and oiling, at least once per year, of all movable parts to the ironmongery will ensure the proper operation and will protect these elements from premature wearing. The lubricants without the content of resins and acids should be used for ironmongery maintenance purposes.

Adjustment of ironmongery

Over the guarantee period, the adjustment of ironmongery may be performed only by qualified personnel of the joinery manufacturer. The erroneous adjustment may lead to the jeopardy of the safety of use of the window or door. Where the adjustments of ironmongery are performed by unauthorized persons, the guarantee for the ironmongery becomes invalid.

Cleaning

For cleaning windows, always use non-aggressive cleaning agents and avoid dry abrasion of window surfaces. The first cleaning should take place not earlier than six-eight weeks after windows assembly.

The higro-controlled grille is an aesthetic item mounted in the window, owing to which the air change may take place even where the windows are hermetically closed. Depending on the time of day and method of rooms use, the flow of air supplied changes and automatically adjusts to the actual needs (at night time, the air is supplied to the bedroom, while in the daytime - to the kitchen).

Subsequent solution - handle controlled opening brake - allows to air the apartment without concern that the sudden wind blow will close the window.

The window leaf is easily locked in the selected position of opening. To that end, simply turn the handle 45° downwards.

As much air as you wish

Micro-ventilation, owing to the small rate of air supplied, allows to air the room without the necessity of tilting or opening the window and over cooling of the room. Such leakage of the window also prevents the condensation of water vapour on the pane.

Safety

Stable window tilting

The application of the tilting stabilization unit in the window allows to fix the window leaf in the tilted position thereby protecting it from the sudden closing under the influence of the wind. The width of the lift tilt may be adjusted e.g. to the season of the year.

Window opening interlock

In order to make sure that the children playing in the home will be unable to open the window, simply install the key-locked window opening interlock. This will prevent the possibility of window opening. It may only be tilted.
